Buying & Entering
How do I enter a raffle?
Add ticket credits to your wallet, then use them to buy tickets on any live raffle. Each ticket gives you one chance to win.
What happens if I win?
You'll get an email and in-app notification the moment you win. From there, the seller prepares and ships your prize - you'll receive updates at every step (preparing, dispatched, and ready for collection). You and the seller can message each other directly on the fulfillment page if needed. Once you receive your prize, you confirm delivery. If it's taking too long, we'll send reminders to both sides. If the seller doesn't deliver within 30 days, the system auto-disputes and you receive cash compensation from the ticket pot instead.
Can I get a refund on tickets?
Tickets and ticket credits are non-refundable once purchased, because each ticket immediately counts toward the raffle's funding target. However, if a raffle is cancelled before it completes, your ticket credits are returned to your wallet.
What is free postal entry?
Every competition offers a free postal entry option. You can enter any competition without buying a ticket by sending a handwritten letter by post. Free entries have the same chance of winning as paid entries. Full details and instructions are on the free entry page.
How do referrals work?
Share your referral code. When a friend you invited buys into a raffle, you get a free ticket to that same raffle. This works for their first 10 raffle purchases, and there's no limit on how many friends you can invite.
Trust & Fairness
How do I know the draw is fair?
Every draw combines a pre-committed seed, a Bitcoin block hash, and the ticket count using SHA512 to determine the winner. The seed is locked at creation and revealed after the draw. The Bitcoin hash is external entropy no one controls. Anyone can independently verify the result.
Can your team rig a draw?
No. The draw uses three independent inputs - a locked seed, a Bitcoin block hash, and the ticket count. The seed is committed before sales begin and can't be changed without breaking the published hash. The Bitcoin block hash is external entropy no one on earth controls. And the ticket count isn't final until the draw. No single party has control over all three inputs. Every draw is publicly verifiable - check it yourself, or paste the data into any AI chatbot and ask it to verify.
What are spending limits?
You can set daily, weekly, or monthly limits on adding ticket credits to your wallet. Once you hit your limit, you can't add more ticket credits until the period resets. Changes have a cooling-off period to prevent impulsive overrides.
What is self-exclusion?
If you need to step away, you can self-exclude for 6 months, 1 year, or permanently. During exclusion, you cannot access the platform. This has a 7-day cooling-off period.
Selling
How do I list a raffle?
Any user can create a raffle listing with item details, photos, and ticket price. If you want to sell as a registered business, you can register through Companies House lookup. There are no listing fees either way.
What does it cost to sell?
Nothing upfront. No listing fees, no setup costs, no monthly charges. The platform fee gets added on top of your price target to form the funding goal.
Do I have to deliver the prize?
If for whatever reason you cannot fulfill the prize, at any price point, the winner receives cash compensation from the ticket pot instead.
What are recurring raffles?
Recurring raffles let you set up a raffle that automatically redraws and relists when it completes. Ideal for businesses that want to raffle the same product or service regularly without manually creating new listings each time.
How do payouts work?
Payouts are automatic and scheduled weekly. Once a raffle completes and the fulfillment process finishes, your funds are paid out to your verified bank account. Before the payout happens, you can optionally use those credits to enter other raffles.
