Who Can Enter
Open to UK adults
18 and over, UK residents
You must be at least 18 and resident in the United Kingdom at the time of entry.
One account per person
Register an account with accurate details. Employees and anyone connected with a competition can't enter it. We may ask you to verify your age and identity before paying out.
How to Enter
Two ways, same odds
Every competition can be entered with or without payment, and both routes have an identical chance of winning.
Paid entry
Buy one or more tickets (or entries) for a competition before it closes. The price is shown on the competition page.
Free postal entry (no purchase necessary)
Enter free by post with the same chance of winning. See the free-entry route for the full no-purchase instructions and address.
Raffle Draws
Random and provably fair
For scheduled raffles, winners are drawn at random using a seed locked at listing combined with a future Bitcoin block, so no one can predict or influence the result and anyone can check it. See how it works.
Verifiable draw
Entries close at the time shown on the competition page; the winner is then drawn automatically.
Your odds
Your chance depends on how many tickets you hold versus the total entries (paid and free) for that competition.
Instant Wins
Scoops, decided instantly
Instant-win competitions are run directly by The Raffle Shop. The outcome of each entry is decided and revealed to you straight away, rather than by a scheduled draw.
Win or no win, by chance
Not every entry wins, and you may receive no prize. Outcomes are determined by chance, and the overall odds are shown on each drop.
Platform-operated
These competitions have no third-party seller. The Raffle Shop provides the prize fund and administers them.
Free to enter too
The free postal entry route applies to instant wins as well, with the same chance as paid entries. Any on-platform free spins are extra and never replace the postal route.

Claiming your prize
The prize
The prize for each competition is described on its own page. Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative unless stated.
If a raffle doesn't fill
A winner is still drawn. The seller may fulfil the prize regardless of the funding outcome; if it isn't fulfilled, the winner instead receives a cash alternative based on the amount raised, as shown on the raffle page.
Notification
Winners are notified in the app and by email, usually within 7 days, and must claim within the stated period.

Who runs the competitions
The platform is operated by the company below. Where a raffle is listed by a third-party seller, that seller is the promoter of their own competition and is named on its page. Instant wins are operated by The Raffle Shop directly.
